Title tags are most important part of your blog post and web page for SEO. It’s described search engines and visitors about your web page and blog post.
According to Moz, “Title tags are the second most important on-page factor for SEO, after content.”

What are Page Title Tags?
When you type any quires on the search engine you see some blue text on the search engine ranking page. Let’s see an example. Head over google and type ”best cupcake recipes” on Google search box.
These blue texts are the title tags.
Why Should I Optimize My Title Tags?
The optimizing title tag is crucial. It describes your web page to search engines and help you to grab viewers attention. Make sure it is good for both search engine and viewers. Title tags are displayed on browsers, search engine ranking page and the external site like Facebook, Google+.
Title Tag Optimization: How do I Write a Great Title Tag?
In the title tag, you can add only 60 characters. If you write a title tag that too long search engine may cut it off. Avoid all capital letters in any words.
Add your main keywords at the beginning of your title tags. For example, if your main focusing keyword is “cupcake recipes for kids”. Then Start your title tag with this keyword.
Don’t Add many keywords or a simple variation of keywords in your title tag. For example “Cupcake Recipes – Best Cupcake Recipes – Tasty Cupcake Recipes”. Avoid keywords stuffing. Page titles should be descriptive and concise.
If your brand is popular you can add your brand name in the title. It is not always mandatory if you have enough space you can add it.
Where do I Add The Title Tag?
Adding a title is different according to your website structure. If you have a CMS site like WordPress, Joomla it is easy to work. But if you have a custom site your title tag should be between opening and closing heading HTML tag. Here is an example.
If your site is WordPress then log in to your admin dashboard. Now click on the plugin and select add new.
In the top right search box type “Yoast SEO” Now install and activate this plugin.
Once you have complete installation process you will find Yoast SEO plugin section on your every blog post and web page below.
Here you will see snippet preview. If you want to add your title tag click on the ‘edit snippet’. Now start writing your title tag.
If you want to change your title tag you can change it whenever you want.

Seomofo: One of the best Google SERP snippet optimization tool. This tool will provide you with some extra information. It will show you how many characters you entered, Display options and more.
In this tool, you can add date, sponsored links (top), sponsored links (right), organic results, rich snippet text.
Protent: Another good SERP preview tool. Enter your title tag, meta description, and URL to see how they’ll appear in a Google search result.
